We are extremely excited and grateful to announce our partnership with:
So who are they?
Fashion Project is truly an amazing company. Developed by Anna Palmer and Christine Risk, two Harvard Law School alumnae, the intent of the Project was to eliminate the possibility of donated clothes not reaching their potential price, by collecting and selling donated high-end apparel and accessories and giving up to 55% of net proceeds to charity.
Why are we so crazy about them?
The money that Fashion Project has raised and the number of charities they support is truly admirable. Currently, Fashion Project has donated $651,053 to charities and supports 1,923 charities. Every year, Brynn Capella, as an individual and a company, does some donating herself. Many of her handbags are donated to charities, some because she strongly believes in the cause and others because they hit much closer to home. Even though the company is not a huge corporation, Brynn believes in doing her part by donating to charities both big and small. Safe to say, when Fashion Project contacted us, we were ecstatic and beyond happy to team together.
The Fashion Project has also partnered with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and has launched in-store donation programs with Nordstrom, Helmut Lang, Joie, Milly, and Elie Tahari, as well as being a part of the exclusive Neiman Marcus InCircle Program.
Figuring out which organization to donate to was definitely a difficult task. We decided
to donate to Charity Partners Foundation. Their mission is “to promote awareness of issues facing contemporary society and to provide charitable assistance of all kinds and every nature without any limitation for those who are in need.” We chose to donate to Charity Partners because we wanted to provide our donation to people or causes that need it most.
Our brand will be on their website in what Fashion Project likes to call a “boutique.” Cute name, right?
Once our “boutique” is up and running on Fashion Project’s website, we will be sure to let you know!
