3 style secrets for Summer 2014

All of this talk around the office about the TASTE of Summer Sale, and the first day of summer being this Saturday I started thinking about all of the style secrets that help me get through the summer.

Going out? – Toss it up.

A loose up do is essential to nail for summer outings. To help your do stay in place and look great throughout the day and into night, try a texturizing spray – or keep it even simpler and use a dry shampoo a few days leading to the event. Hair that is a little dirty will stay in place much better then squeaky clean hair, making a loose bun or slicked back pony look effortless and fun no matter the occasion.

Don’t bake it, fake it.

Save your skin this summer by adding bareMinerals to your makeup arsenal. First apply bareMinerals SPF 15 foundation to protect your skin and hide flaws. Then buff on bareMinerals All-Over Face Color to add the perfect glow to your skin for summer. This way you will be protecting your precious skin, while still looking amazing year round.

Make it a double.

Play around with lip and eye color for a fun summer look that people will notice first thing. Running out of outfits that wow this summer? No problem, get everyone’s attention with a one two punch the second you walk in. Combining a soft blue tone on your eye, with a bold dark lip. This is a fun way to make the dark lip trend work for the summer by lightening the eye with a subtle blue tone. Another summer eye trick is combining a light smoky eye with a muted pink lip. This is the perfect way to rock a smoky eye during a summer day that can carry you seamlessly into a hot summer night.

Stay up to date, connected, and fabulous.
